My Levi was quickly to 7 stars and I didn't discover this until after reaching that, so I can't vouch for performance below that. You should try it once or twice and see if it works.
you're saying that you should just start: Fury, MK6, and Sith Fighter - regardless of the other Levi's fleet composition. 1st Reinforcement: Dorito. 2nd Reinforcement: Sith Tank
Correct starting lineup. The reinforcements won't matter a ton. Personally my favourite reinforcement is Scimitar, because he can stealth everyone else to guarantee that the enemy focusses on your Mk6.
Even with gaining as much TM as possible, sometimes the enemy will get off Sabotage the Hangars before you can get out your 2nd reinforcement. In that case sacrifice a ship that you don't care about. Could be the Bomber-tank or the Emperor's Shuttle so that you can bring in one you do care about next time. If you prefer the Bomber to the Scimitar, at least make sure you don't bring it in until the enemy Sith Fighter is dead.
Remember the tank has health, which means it can go below 100% health, which means that as long as the enemy has a Sith Fighter, it can use attacks against your tank to gain TM.
Timing Sabotage the Hangars is crucial. The AI generally brings out their Mk6 as their first reinforcement. Let them. Sabotage the Hangars cannot insta-kill the Mk6 (it only loses a single stack, just like normal damage). As soon as they bring out the Mk6, then hit them with StH so that they can't bring out any more ships. In most cases the timing works perfectly anyway and you don't have to hold on to StH more than a single turn (when you'll be bringing out your own 1st reinforcement).
Dorito is a good attacker to help finish off the tank. Make sure you understand the TIE Dagger "Vengeance" mechanic. Do not use the AoE earlier, so that when you get your bonus turn you can use it to maximum effect. (On the bonus turn but ONLY on the bonus turn, Dorito ignores protection, which means taking multiple enemies below 100% health, which means more TM for your side.)
Kill order is:
- Bomber/tank
- (take stacks of Mk6 below 30 if currently above)
- Sith Fighter
- Fury
- Mk6
You shouldn't need to take stacks off the enemy Mk6 too many times. You'll be keeping Retribution on your own Mk6 as often as possible which will get rid of a stack now and then, as will the Dorito AoE.
Don't use your Sith Fighter to remove stacks from Mk6. SF is too valuable elsewhere b/c it ignores protection against debuffed enemies.
You should refine your own opening moves, but I never use SF's special unless the ship I'm targeting has yellow or red health (so I get the bonus damage), and I always use Fury's multi-assist on turn1 against the enemy tank. That will inflict protection disruption about half the time. If it lands, the battle becomes that much easier. As long as your Mk6 goes before Fury, it works to use your 2nd special first. This sacrifices 3 stacks, which are precious, but you gain Retribution, which lets you counter, which gives you +10 stacks if under 10 and you have the multi-assist from Fury, which will also allow Mk6 to gain +10 stacks if under 10. So there should only be a brief moment under 10 stacks. Your Mk6 will never get to use its insta-kill, but it will be fine.
