As FTP only the 8day farm is practical, and thats still using 300 crystals a day. Even if gear is not an issue we just added a 2 year grind to max out characters, and future relic levels(taking more time) will be added later with abilities.

I understand your personal frustration to an extent, but again I'd defer to my above comment that bad RNG is being portrayed as a problem within the game. Believe me when I say I know its frustrating, I've been farming for both Revans for nearly a year and I'm still not there! But that's because I've chosen to not refresh nodes etc.

From launch there were plenty of people, all F2P in my guild, who weren't doing all 3 refreshes at 100 purple who had up to lvl 4 within the week. I would assume it would have been earlier had they refreshed more.

I was not trying to suggest frustration. I was just trying to give some numbers. Which you seem to agree with, it will take 8 days (perhaps longer) to farm the required signal data to take one character to relic 7. It takes 305 signal data salvage to get to level 7. The drop rates are not horrid, but still takes a while to get that many.

BTW it only takes 95 signal data to get to relic 4 (and those are the lower tier ones that some say have a higher drop rate).
