Team I used. Worked with Snowtrooper too. If you think about your strategy and make sure you time your AOE correctly, you can get to Round 4 without the Ewoks even taking a turn. This is without "god-tier" speed mods too.
I should have written up what I did so I could have done a strategy guide, because I followed the same pattern for all three tiers and never lost a guy. The only tier I auto'd was the first one, one time.
The very first time this event appeared, I used HK lead, IG88, IG86, Snowtrooper and Vader (I think - I remember droids were a big part of it, and Palp wasn't around).
