- The original thinkers are busy
1. finishing GW
2. spending on the mods that dopes are calling a ripoff that is "not worth the credits."
3. using protection, dps, potency and carefully arranged speed secondaries to crush dopes in arena and solo raid.
There is a momentary amnesty on rearranging mods. If you're here posting, you either have already figured it all out, or you're wasting your free amnesty and falling further behind.
So come here and look a gift horse in the mouth, or play the game you claim you love. The original thinkers are busy figuring out how to leave you guys behind. Don't worry, in a week or two, there will be back on the forums, telling you guys what to do. "LastJedi;578862" wrote:

1. GW is easy.
2. I spend credits on mods, but they are definitely ripoffs for what they are now
3. I can't see anyone carefully arranging rng stats.
Your probably using a meta team like everyone else, so you're a noob too.- 3. You can't see how between 30 mods per team, rearranging them can make a huge difference in Arena particularly. Ok, you don't have enough mods to bother with, maybe. Keep at it.
When you finally have enough pieces to make some magic, it is gonna cost you some credits to shuffle them around, though.
If you have 30+ leveled mods, and you haven't spend a couple hours shuffling them, you are snoozing. Read tutorial on how TM works, and get to work. "LastJedi;578905" wrote:

Right speed, potency and tenacity with hp, protection and some accuracy for dispels.- @Lianara
Clearly the OP is the result, not the cause. You are probably right about it not being the sollution to a healthier admosphere on the forum, neither was your response for that matter. There is no moral high ground.
I don't know if you have ever tried to help people who are complaining about a certain aspect of the game, but i can tell you from my own experience and from what i've read in threads i didnt participate in, that suggestions and other points of view that might help are dismissed easily and often. When you try to help people and get shot in the face for it, it also creates a snowball effect.
You are right that its impossible to prove the snowball effect i discribed, but its highly unlikely that every single person arrived on the same conclusion independently. How many of them arrived on the same conclusion independently is open for debate. I think its mostly the severity of the issue gets exaggerated if many people share the same concern. Again, impossible to prove, but it's most likely happening nontheless.
"To me, the only difference is passive tone, the meaning, while less belligerent, is the same - stating that people that are unhappy should rather walk away from the situation rather then continue getting angry about it. It's not a completely wrong argument, but everyone has a different tolerance for negativity, and it's quiet possible that some, who are currently unhappy about the game, are complaining because they want it to succeed (fight or flight, I guess?)"
My statement wasnt about the quiting if you dont like it. It was about joining the complaintrain even though you actually still enjoy the game, otherwise they would have probably stopped playing. Some post dont even include what they are complaining about, just some good ol' EA/CG bashing. When you read some comments that are so gosh darn negative, that you can only conclude that there is no way the poster of said message is still playing this. There are more than a few of those, and they are probably still playing the game. So why do they post those messages? Seemed to fit the "conformity" part of the previous "groupthink" discussion. Right speed, potency and tenacity with hp, protection and some accuracy for dispels.
Sure. You got it.
No, I don't use a meta team. I have never seen anyone with my squad. But I am working towards a meta... want to unleash it at the next level, though, previously unseen without mods.- My non meta just fine, on offense. I can probably have a shot at #1, depending on who's in top 5, with refresh. Top ten for sure. No refreshes, top 20, easy. The noobs learn so slow, haha. Gained 20 ranks from the update. Not as bad as the protection update, though. I went from fighting for 50 to taking 1st.

Perhaps ... But, Op was wrong about groupthink, and Op's (and your) assumptions about motivation of the complaining player base are nothing more than that - an assumption, without anything backing it up. Forums don't break down when people complain about a commercial product. They do break down when posts like OP's start popping up.
Oh, and I can turn around and say that posts of complainers are also clearly the result of mishandled Mod patch.

Where do you get the Highly Unlikely? Just guessing? Maybe it happened maybe not. Maybe 1% maybe 90% , without a way to prove it either way there is no argument to be had.- As soon as God is brought into an argument I am done. That fairy tale has no place in a gaming forum. You are simply here to prove yourself superior over us mere mortals. Enjoy the sermon folks. I am out.
