G12 and Heroic Raid Reward Changes [MEGA]

Personally, on paper I don't oppose the changes to the rewards for the heroic tier. I might change my mind after I see the rewards in action, though.

But what is crazy is that they didn't address the issues with the lower tier rewards. Lets face it: guilds who are struggling to do Tier 5 and 6 are taking almost as long to finish the raid as it takes to do an entire Territory Battle (sure Heroic guilds can drop down to Tier 6 and finish it more quickly, but I am talking about the guilds that are banging their heads against the giant wall that is the rosters required to do the Heroic, and are thus stuck with Tier 5 or 6)

So look at the rewards for a concerted guild effort over 5 days on a Territory Battle... compared to the same effort for a Tier 6 raid. The rewards for the raid are sooooo bad it is hard to believe how it could ever have been thought to be sensible.

On the other side of the coin, though, is that if they add another 1-2 crafted or full salvage piles of purple gear to the Tier 5 and 6 levels of the raid, they would have to add that gear to the rewards for the heroic too. Which I am not opposed to.

I think the issue is not about the Heroic people getting too much, but the non-heroic people getting far too little for the massive time investment involved.
