So I keep getting "404" when checking opponent history on certain opponents. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a .gg fail? People who don't have profiles get to see up your skirt but you don't get to?Anyone heard anything on this?

What about the likely hood of someone not registering so no one can view their history. But wish to view others history ......That's an incredibly small group of players. Most already signed up or didnt sign up for swgoh.gg before they even displayed GAC history.

Well, I wish I had as much faith in exploits not being abused as you seem to have. Faith in others not figuring out how to game the system doesn't seem like something that should be added to the gaming experience.For one I wouldn't call it an exploit, not even close. Nor would I call it gaming the system. Sure, not having a gg would mean you can hide you history, but it also mean you cannot learn what was used against your defense and improve. There are advantages and disadvantages to having and not having a gg account, but I would not call any of them gamebreaking, or really even that important.

The guarantee having your own account offers to view your def is a fair point, but i do wonder how often i actually face someone who doesn't have a .gg acount. My guess is not very often at all. I reckon my def gets checked by my opponent way more often than i'm facing an opponent without a .gg account. So yea, you're going to have a hard time trying to convince me that having a .gg account benefits me in regards to GAC/this discussion. but like you said, to each their ownWhat annoys me is that a 3rd party website is displaying information for everyone to see that is not available ingame, but only the information of players signed up to that website. That's just silly. Either display the information of all the players (which i believe was supposed to happen), or of none of the players. Just to clarify, i do have a .gg account and i'd sign up all over again if i didn't. I just think how ea/cg handled the whole thing is just silly.

Another fun thing lately is "error retrieving data" where there should be a history. That's really convenient for them! This is the case on who I'll no-doubt be playing in the finals. Looks like he has a great advantage!

I guess if they were to cheat I would have no way of knowing, but if I do lose I'm just gonna say they must have cheated just to save face ;)

That person could have not joined that round. Some people refuse to play at all if they feel they "can't win." It's dumb, but they do it. Also people just forget to join or are busy and don't get around to it sometimes.

Yeah I only check .gg on the people I’m gonna face, not everyone in my bracket.

I couldn't see my own last round history because of that error and I did participate.

Got the same error... No round at all but I played every round! Really frustrating... Now I don't know if I played against cheaters because they crashed me the last round really insane...

You can check anyone’s history by replacing the ID in the url on gac-history to their ID

No you can’t. You will still get this error for seemingly random people who do have a .gg acct and have participated in GAC. You will simply get a 404 if they do not have a .gg acct.

Its actually not a cluster F, I choose not to have an account, there is no rule in GAC or SWGOH that says anyone needs an account. A cluster F would be if my GAC history was made available to those with an account.
