You have one above. You may argue that it's only a small sample, but feel free to check more of your own GAC history or other players' GAC histories. I'm quite sure, you will see similar results.
Last time we discussed this I gave you more statistics. In 18 of my own rounds the winners used 71-72 characters on average (div. 1 - 7 defensive squads). Back then I also checked 9 rounds of your GAC history. 68 on average back then.
You are using a logical fallacy to prove your premise. The fact that people use the same characters the majority of the time doesn't prove they don’t have an advantage if the have more viable characters. Only that there is little deviation in defence. I'll use myself as an example, the fact that my gear 10-11 Imp troopers (4 of which are outside my top 80) are able to take out 3-4 common gear 12 teams allows me to put a team on def I would otherwise have to save for a counter.
Also, if the winners for the most part use less than 75 characters but match ups are based on 80 I'd suggest either people with the best 70 have an advantage or the next 5-10 can be relevant. To me that means either we should have more divisions or a tweak to match making.
