I think there’s previously been a bug where only Active Ability taunts count.

You are probably right and that is my suspicion also, however how hard would it be to update the description to say so or you know make the feat counter actually count all the taunts gained. Math is hard.

or if it is a know bug than stop using the feat until you actually test it and it is working...

It's weird. I didn't get it first try and then put HT, Tie-Bomber and the Hyena Bomber in the starting line up. Got it then.

Passive taunts count at least as far as TIE Bomber gaining taunt from target locked enemies. My suspicion is that any taunt other than Geonosian Spy (not applicable in this case) and the event passive would count.
