Does anyone else feel like red crates are no longer worth the effort?

Sometimes, but most I can figure out my way through here. I did two battles. One with Jabba lead BHs. I did another with JML lead, Hoda, Yoda, JKR, and Shaak. Let her basic as much as possible and with assists.

Depends on effort. For me nothing changes for years, in most cases red crate either very easy or plain impossible because I don't have strong enough required faction. Middle ground is pretty rare.

The RNG in GC is also wild, “I did it first time with x” could just be very fortunate. I have done so in the pass with a line up, shared it with someone else who failed to reproduce it, then went to try again and failed to reproduce it myself in another 20 battles. I was just lucky. There is no disconnect with the people with larger rosters. If you don't have the team for the GC you aren't going to be able to do it. That's not new, and still happens to me at 10.8M GP, so that I occasionally have to take the t8 or t9 box. Not a big deal.If you can't even do that with your roster... well, that's just how it goes. Work on those teams if you want to beat the GC's. That's kind of the whole point of the game.

How much effort are we talking?

It's almost always worth 4 or 5 attempts. If it's one of the really annoying ones that needs perfect RNG and 20 attempts, I'll usually try a few times, get T8 and come back to it if I'm really bored or need to prove to my guild mates that it's possible.

Define effort?
I spend about 15 mins on them and than done (depending on num of battles needed).

I think this is a thing again where you are in the game. If you don't have every GL, some of those challenges are quite difficult or even impossible. Even if you have high Relics on the specific factions it is sometimes not possible without the specific GL.

100% most of them are not just get gold crate on some of these bc they are not worth the frustration and some of us are not blessed with 10mill accounts with every toon

Run these on auto and got red crate, took minutes of my time. Rewards are worth it.

I’m perfectly happy allowing my future opponents to believe that omicrons aren’t worth the effort.
