I find that rather odd, as well. I am not sure if the game pulls Arena teams, or GW teams, or generates AI teams.
You'd figure if it pulled GW teams you'd see a lot less insta-gib teams because those are used in Arena. A team like that usually won't hold up over a long period of GW. Of course, they are probably just swapping to a team like that on the last GW node. *shrugs*
Wish we knew more about how it worked.
Seems to be Arena teams. Literally nearly all I face now is Dooku/Ben, Rey, Leia/GS, QGJ, RG for 8 out of 12 nodes. Yes my team can beat that but after a couple I have no protection left and with RNG they can easily take a character out that has no protection.
