Try restarting the game. I have similar issues at various areas in the game and it almost always corresponds to a lot of memory being used (either some of the animation / video cut-scenes have just been running in raid or ship battles, or the game has been running for a long time). I suspect there is some sort of memory leak bug happening.
When I run ship battles I have to restart the game every time I go into a battle to avoid these crashes (and this seems to work).
