Years ago, Star Wars Galaxies Test Center had a mode where you could create a character at any level, any profession, any skill set, with any gear, literally if you wanted to try something, it was an option. The down side was your character would be deleted with every server restart.
It'd be nice to have something like this in SWGOH to help learn different synergies and abilities and figure out which direction we want to take our characters.
