Tie Pilot is definitely not a trooper. Troopers are ground soldiers, the pilot is a pilot.
Super Commando is a better question, but I would guess that he's supposed to be some kind of elite, where the Imperial Trooper category may be meant to be more for the grunts. Though how that would square with Death Trooper, I couldn't explain.
Death trooper has trooper in his name. You're still confused as to why he's in the trooper faction?
What about Royal Guard? Wouldn't he be considered a trooper as well?
No, she's a body guard not a soldier.
She? Is this some weird EU/prequel thing that actually detracts from the storyline of the original 3 films.. the empire was a racist/speciest/sexist organisation that only white 'human' males were considered to be worthy of positions of import, aliens only served as bounty hunters etc and women were not seen at all.
Analogous to regimes from our history and a good reason to show why the empire needed to be brought down by the rebels, consisting of many aliens and lead by mon mothma to highlight the difference.
I realise lots of following material has made a mess of the original concepts but just wasn't aware of this particular instance and wondering where it came from?
