Gameplay recording

What do you guys use to record your gameplay? I was wanting to record some things to show my guild I just don’t really know how to go about doing it. Do I have to have a laptop/cpu? Do I have to have the high ground? Any help is appreciated, many thanks!

Another vote for DU... Sad to say its gif recording feature has become pay-only... It rocked back when it was free.

Using the screen recorder for iOS, you can also edit and stop the video to take the stills of damage or anything else as well, without having to pay for extras.
