GAS Event

Oh forgot to mention thanks for all the events and mods that come with them but they filled my mod storage and made it a huge pain to make changes during the G$ event. Sold a lot of grey mods i usually lvl to 12 just so i could continue modding a droid.

I had the same issue as well! Had to sell a bunch of unlevelled mods just to move everything back to their original home.

All my characters were reliced except three. Powered through the event in 30 minutes. He's 75/85 right now, g8, no zetas.

Nice. I only had GK with relics for the GR part of the event, and all but magna with relics for phase 4. Wasn't terribly difficult once I had the proper mods on each character. Sitting at 15/85 shards though and no zetas lol.

After learning a lot from the first event and preparing it took me 3 tries on P2, 1 on P3, and less than a dozen on P4. There first few attempts on P4 were used learning the mechanics and getting a feel for it.

I used close to what is generally recommended as the minimum in all phases. For P4 this was Asajj r4, B1 r4, B2 G12+2, Magna G12+2, Droideka G12+0.

The event was hard. And required some preparation. But it did not feel like an "RNG joke" to me. I think the second quote above is more accurate.

i personally found p2 harder than p4.

in p2 i had good mods and 3/5 at relic 3 (shaak and c3p0 were g12+) but i found the opening to be super important. have to kill b2 then b1 quickly. and take full advantage of killing droidekas fast if you counter kill a magnaguard while going for b1 after killing b2. edit: took under an hour total but never felt within my control so much as it felt rng. p4 felt in my control

p4 sucked until i had a moment to swap mods. before that my b2 was for potency mostly with low speed, b1 was modded correctly, magna was modded for tankyness, droideka and assaj weren’t right. so i swapped out my malak mods to B2 for tankyness and some speed, DR mods to assaj for speed and power and then BSF mods to droideka for speed and power.. after that it took about 3-5 attempts very quickly and it was over. won with 3 or 4 alive. mods were everything. also all were r3 except b1 was r4 and magna was g12

If you haven't farmed for his event completion yet then you've done notjing but hurt yourself in the long run imo

I'm not going to chase a bad meta.

Imagine thinking it was easy to R7 10 toons while also actively participating and helping your guild in TB, TW, raids and GAC. Imagine thinking that the current gear crunch and mechanics would allow such a concept of meaningful progress in a 4 month period without having to spend mass amounts of money, crystals or drop currency that you’re required to hoard

All 10 toons are useful in TB, TW and GAC so it’s not a waste of investment. In fact it will help you progress in all 3 areas. Yes it takes time but it’s worth it.

Easy I’d the wrong word, it’s time consuming and you use all your resources but it benefits you in all game aspects
