Some players already got the max tier and wouldn’t have noticed that they would have to redo the GC
it’s safer and easier for the GC to end and then replace the mats
If that's the case they could just say so

They don’t have to because it doesn’t change the fact we will be getting the correct salvage after the GC ends either way
