Geared Magma Trooper Viable?

Does anyone have a geared Magma trooper? I have lvl 70, 7 star, gear 8, but from there to gear 10 and 80 he will gain over 1,000 physical damage.

Right now he hits about the same as Baris which is a complete joke.

Anyone test him out?

He's actually pretty damn bulky and his special can almost guarantee my IG-88 gets an attack in after vader uses his force special to rack up dem debuffs. So, in the context of my squad, he's useful. But he does hit like a fairy.
