Nope. He's perfect for a droid squad and decent in other squads if you want to pierce evasive/countering teams. His health is massively increased on the appropriate team, and his speed is either 1) increased by Lobot leader or 2) mitigated by HK-47 turn meter leadership gains. He's great.
The only thing I'm disappointed about is how hard he'll be to get starred up :)
Even with Lobot as lead and Grievous with IGs and Hk47 , I'm not sure if droid squads will be viable. Only HK47 will be able to last 2 attacks by either a combination of GS, Rey and QGJ
