Need more activity options

If you’re bored, do squad arena, manually play events instead of simming, test teams in GC, or replay journey guide battles. Or just find something else to do like read a book.

Here are a few specific suggestions in case it's helpful:


Batch 1: Characters from Andor that offer rich potential for Rebel and Imperial squads.

Bix Caleen: Light Side, Support, Rebel, Rebel Fighter, Scoundrel; Loyal mechanic and early Rebel contact; fits well into tech-based support or “Civilian Resistance” synergy through ally dispels, turn meter gain, or debuff utility.

Cinta Kaz: Light Side, Attacker, Rebel, Rebel Fighter; Cold, calculated insurgent; ideal for stealth or strike-team mechanics.

Fondor Haulcraft (Luthen’s Ship): Light Side, Support, Rebel; Stealth-based multi-role vessel designed for tactical evasion and surprise attacks; complements Rebel fleets focused on control or survivability.

Kino Loy: Light Side, Tank, Leader, Rebel, Rebel Fighter; Prison-break brawler with rally-based leadership potential; may offer defense and turn meter boosts tied to ally defeat or crowd-control effects like taunt or ability block.

Kleya Marki: Light Side, Support, Leader, Rebel, Rebel Fighter; Luthen’s covert right hand; a potential tactician who boosts synergy among Rebel Fighters, dispels buffs, and manipulates stealth or cooldowns.

Lt. Dedra Meero: Dark Side, Support, Leader, Empire, Imperial Trooper; Ruthless ISB officer; could control enemy turn meter, expose Rebels, and grant bonuses to Troopers or ISB-themed units; excels in counter-intelligence.

Maarva Andor: Light Side, Support, Leader, Rebel; Rebel symbol; Inspirational matriarch of the Rebellion who provides morale-based buffs like offense up or tenacity, particularly when Rebel Fighters are present.

Syril Karn: Dark Side, Support, Leader, Empire, Imperial Trooper; Obsessive lawman; could support Imperial squads; enhanced performance with Meero or Imperial officers, and bonuses for orderly squad composition.

Vel Sartha: Light Side, Attacker, Leader, Rebel, Rebel Fighter; Tactical strike leader granting critical damage bonuses and tactical momentum for Rebel units.

Batch 2: Characters and ships that deepen the Scoundrel faction.

Dryden Vos: Dark Side, Leader, Scoundrel; Refined yet ruthless Crimson Dawn leader; could serve as a versatile Scoundrel leader with synergy alongside Qi’ra and Maul, promoting critical hit mechanics and control effects like daze or stun.

Tobias Beckett: Dark Side, Leader, Scoundrel; Veteran mercenary who could function as a mid-speed leader with turn meter-based mechanics and bonuses for critical hits or ally deaths.

First Light (Dryden’s Ship): Dark Side, Scoundrel; Luxurious and lethal.

Dr. Penn Pershing: Dark Side, Empire, First Order, Imperial Remnant; Cloning specialist and reluctant Imperial scientist; could enable Remnant mechanics, buff regeneration, and stacking effects based on science-themed allies. May pair with Moff Gideon or future Snoke mechanics.

Snoke: Dark Side, Support, Leader, Empire, First Order; Dark Side manipulator born of Sith alchemy and cloning; bridge between Empire and First Order, offering powerful enemy disruption, health manipulation, and synergy with Kylo Ren (Unmasked).

Batch 3: 

Bail Organa: Light Side, Support, Leader, Galactic Republic, Rebel; Political linchpin of the Rebellion; ideal support for Mon Mothma, Leia Organa, or Padmé squads. Could enable cleanse, cooldown reduction, and situational leadership flexibility bridging Rebel and Galactic Republic units.

Imperial TIE Bomber Pilot: Dark Side, Empire; Completes the crew functionality of an existing staple ship; offers enhanced synergy with Empire fleets and applies debuffs like defense down, with potential anti-Rebel bonuses.

Rebel Y-wing Pilot: Light Side, Rebel; Crewed support unit for the already available Rebel Y-wing; provides critical hit protection and deflector shield synergy, supporting Home One or Profundity fleets.

BTL‑B Y‑wing Pilot: Light Side, Galactic Republic; Crewed unit for the BTL-B Y-wing; strengthens Galactic Republic fleets with taunt cycling, protection recovery, and synergy with Jedi and Clone pilots.

There is already enough to do in the game. If you need more, try another game or go outside 

I'm guessing you're pretty new.  For established players, this period is horrendous.  I think I'm spending 5+ hours a day on Conquest and ROTE alone.

Thanks for replying, OutrunWhistle​; respectfully, I don't understand the pushback. I participate in all the activities, and I'm simply suggesting adding more would be nice - folks have been making similar posts for years, as you can see in your forum history, I'm just trying to do it nicer than most folks seem to bother with.

Thanks for replying, ​harvestmouse1; I've been a daily player for over a year now, and respectfully, I don't understand the pushback. I'm simply suggesting adding more content would be nice - folks have been making similar posts for years, as you can see in our forum history, I'm just trying to do it nicer than most folks seem to bother with.

Personally I can't imagine how ROTE could consume so much of your time... Conquest I can understand a bit of.

If you complain about how cold your winter can get during a 40c heatwave, you may not get the level of empathy you're wishing for.

My point, is that you couldn't have picked a worse time in the SWGOH monthly cycle to ask for more content.  If at that time you're experiencing a lot of downtime, that's likely to change in the next year or so.

There are definitely times I'd like something to do in SWGOH, just not right now.  However, aren't they adding new content all the time?   We only just got the Piracy Era battle.

It's just a bit odd to me, in all my decades playing so many games and being part of so many forums, I've never seen other players get upset when someone wants more content, that's really wild lol. 

Some of us have more gaming time than others, and indeed I play many different games, this one only gets a tiny fraction of my time, but that's due to a severe lack of stuff to do. I would love to play this game more if there was more to do, is my point :)

Most games have replayable content, repeated quests, ability to just generate a battle and grind for rewards. This game is so limiting with most battles requiring energy tokens that regenerate slowly, and while quests and events cycle back around, allowing only a single completion means soon we're back to waiting for something to do.  I'm glad to know y'all are satisfied, that's great, however I'm joining a chorus of requests for more content. 

It could be as simple as removing energy token requirements for some battles, so we can grind whenever we want. There are lots of easy solutions, they don't have to design all new game modes.

You seem like a new or low gp player. Thats what a lot of people are saying theres plenty. If you don't think ROTE is time consuming, you're either not playing it or doing like 1 battle and deploying. Same with conquest. Let alone gac raids etc. Mid and late game players have more than enough content to do. CG should instead let us sim ROTE battles we've beaten dozens of time for example.
