General Grievous Rework Idea
Hi guys so this is my idea of what a General Grievous rework should look like. In the Clone Wars, Grievous was an extremely powerful combatant that could take on several enemies (including jedi) at once, and I hope to show some of his awesomeness in this rework. This rework is MEANT to be powerful, just like all the newest and greatest characters (Kenobi, Palpatine,Rogue One characters). Since he will be really strong he will also finally be worth the arguably longest and hardest grind in the game. For the reworks listed you are to assume that they are the max level possible (Ex: omega or zeta). Also, his base stats, damage and health/protection will remain unchanged with this rework. Ideally he would require a zeta somewhere, just not sure where (most likely his leader ability). Before I begin with the rework, I would like to add that I took a lot inspiration from some other rework ideas, mostly the one found here.
General Grievous: Dark Side, Droid, Separatist, Attacker
Relentless Assault (Basic Ability)- Deal physical damage to target enemy with a 75% chance to attack a second time, 50% chance to attack a third time, and a 25% chance to attack a fourth time. Hits after the first deal 75% less damage and cannot be Critical Hits. This attack cannot be Evaded or Countered.
Grievous Wounds (Special, 4 turn cooldown)- Deal physical damage to all enemies and inflict Healing Immunity and Health Down for 2 turns. These effects cannot be resisted.
Sinister Laugh (Special, 4 turn cooldown)- Remove 15% Turn Meter from all enemies with a 75% chance to inflict Daze and Offense Down for 2 turns. For each enemy suffering a negative status effect gain 10% Turn Meter.
Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies (Leader Ability)- All enemies and allies have -20% Critical Chance and -20% Critical Damage. In addition, all ally droid leader abilities are activated until the end of the encounter (zeta required).
You Are Doomed (Unique Ability) - General Grievous gains 8% max health and protection for each droid ally. In addition, whenever Grievous falls below 100% and 50% Health, he will Dispel all negative status effects on himself and force a random ally to Taunt for 1 turn if no ally is currently Taunting for him. That ally also gains 100% Turn Meter. If IG-100 is present he Taunts instead. General Grievous also gains 80% Counter Chance, these hits cannot be Critical Hits and deal 50% less damage (zeta required).
EA devs, if you could find it in your hearts to give General Grievous the rework he most certainly deserves (not necessarily these ideas) you will make me the happiest person on the forums :)
