- It will fracture guilds faster than a 348 speed Thrawn I guarentee it.

Come on.- 10* here in a 120m GP guild and weve decided to do full GEO
- One thing I'm hearing more and more, "I just don't care anymore. The game isn't fun anymore". Some will argue, anything SW is awesome beyond belief and they'd love it if it was 2d and 8k graphics. GEOTB is just another brick in the wall to some. But who cares right, let 'em quit right? Meh no big deal.

Tbf - people have been saying that since rancor. Game is still here and a great many of people are still here.
As to your thread - most guilds should go for geo Tb.
If the stars aren’t aligning stick with Hoth till being built up.
If the guild is half and half - find a similar guild and merge. 1 guild for geo
1 guild for Hoth.- braskme6 years agoSeasoned AceDespite all the guild chat along the lines of "This is impossible!" and "WTH, 0/4 with a G12 team in P4?!" while the TB was running, everyone seemed very enthusiastic about going at it again, which definitely wasn't the vibe I was getting :) We had one member pack it in, but gained a couple more. New content always stirs things up a bit, but without it a lot more players would quit.
- mykdapet6 years agoRising AceProblem with Geo is it seems catered to large guilds. There's not a lot of hope in building a guild to get there because it puts you behind everyone in the large guilds from the get go. Without it you stand very little chance at G13 or the new capital ship etc. At least, not remotely as fast as those in the large guilds. There are lots of guilds out there that can't do it as well, and many who have no chance in the next 6ish months even if they work at it.
- My alliance had issues recruiting before the Geo TB. Since it ended recruiting has been glorious. Lots of guilds that under performed or didn’t realize how weak they really were are dying.

But the other side of that is the many forum posts complaining about having nothing new to do before GAC and GeoTB dropped.
You can’t please everyone, and it might be sound business practice to aim to please your most loyal customers.
Very, very true. With me it comes down to picking which child I like most. But such is the life of a leader. No one said it would be easy."Bigbearxba;c-1906747" wrote:

I guess I'm weird. I see guilds ending as sad. Maybe I'm to old for modern gaming anymore. I can't just ignore people and do what's best for me. (Not accusing you of anything, just using your post as a talking point). In the MMO I frequent they made a huge change when it launched. Open world fighting. No constant LFG (only raids are more picky), just show up fight get your rewards and move on. More realistic too. But that is the benefit of MMORPGS. More players in a given area. #zergsftw :)
