I get wanting to control progression. The guilds that have higher gp players earn more tokens faster, thus allowing them to unlock GET toons first.
Making an epic confrontation character 5*, with another 3-5 months to get 7* is absurd however.
Use GET to release marquee toons or something, that enhance a team. Arc trooper for example. General anikan should have been 7* unlock for all the gear and characters required. He would be a good toon, but in order to make the team arc trooper is needed, and you need to farm
Him from GET. Simple
