If it's now hoarding or managing, the point @majorp and also others, including me, wanted to bring out, is:
Releasing supposed meta toons, which need huge investments, commitments or clever farming beforehand and than lock them behind a get gate is simply an awful idea.
Why should anybody bother pushing his roster and spending when he/she cant max the toon right away (which most probably would again result in some spending for gears). While all the others slowly get ready for the second time the event comes around and besides also hoard, sorry manage, the get along, so that they can max the toon than right away.
I did hoard, eh I ment manage, my get quite good, will in 2 tb have gas at 7☆
But so many players didn't and it just feels wrong to reward their commitment with such a way of release.
Also i dont get the point why you @Kyno are telling that the get store isnt ment for farming gear or for realising the gear crunch. Why is there than even great?
Everybody can say what they want, but obviously people like to play the game differently. Some enjoy playing a high competition games others like playing with friends, but of course smaller guilds do face much more problems, because they have way less get income than higher ones (and iam telling this by being in a 200mil gp guild in which iam since the beginning of the game). We gladly managed to stay together despite difficult content we have been struggling like (raids or tb).
Ditching out high end gear or currency should be made available not just through guild events, but also through personal events- this way smaller guilds have it easier to stay together but anyway will get similar amount of that stuff needed.
