Give us back our freedom of choice in arena--all three slots

I no longer have three choices in who I want to fight.
The third (highest) slot is picked for me, and never changes no matter how many times I refresh.
Why can I not pick the teams I want to fight?
No matter how many times I refresh, I get the same choice.
Some teams I can beat, some I cannot.
I would like to choose which teams I fight.
Plus, if I lose, I just get to play the same team again!!
If you are not satisfied with the max jump, refresh as many times as you want.
But, please, please please developers give us back our freedom of choice!!

    Seems the team decided that players not being able to see the max jump after numerous refreshes was more of an issue than people picking the highest ranked team they could actually beat.

    If you monitor the middle team that is being refreshed, it gets awfully close to the max jump. So I personally haven't found it very detrimental that the last box is fixed. I'll see #68 #64 #60. And then when I refresh I'll see #67 #62 #60.

    I think that's pretty good compromise.

    I see 207/192/181.
    Not a very good compromise, IMHO.
    May make things better for the top 20, worse for the tens of thousands of others.

    Someone brought this up in a different thread, I figure I will ask here too.

    How often did you use the left most panel for attacks?

    From most peoples explanations we are seeing is that the left 2 are acting like the right 2 did. And since the 3rd panel was a wash, I'm not sure I see the issue.

    I more appreciate the freedom of keeping my hard earned crystals for more important things, so count me among those that greatly approved this update.

    Because it's the most requested feature in the game over the last few years was to make it easier to obtain a max jump.

    Personally I don't like it but I saw over a hundred posts in the last 3 months on this forum asking for this so I understand the developers doing it.

    Also remember the middle window is pretty much the old riht hand window and the left window seems to be somewhere between the old left window and the old middle window.


    Not for me, and not for anyone not in the top 50.

    No, the right two panels are not much of a gain, the third panel is the only way to make headway.

    Currently my rank is 182. Left 180 central 163 right 154.

    But 156 and 155 would not show up before every time, so you would have to refresh anyway, and I'm sure you could see them if your refreshed a few times.

    Certain numbers would almost never show up with 3 pains, i.e. the highest jump, no matter how much you refreshed for 5-10 mins at some points, or if you missed it...

    But this is all good feedback for the devs, they said they would monitor this situation to see how the fix was recieved. Overall many people seem to like it, but I'm sure there is always room for improvement.

    How does this help you keep crystals? I have to do more battles, so it costs me more.


    More efficient climbing for those with developed characters. Before it would take more that the free daily refreshes to climb at the rate I can climb now. I'm happy because less battles (for me) is less money to get a higher rank at payout. Anything that saves me money is helpful. Sorry we are on opposite sides of this equation, but I can be excused for some self interest when talking about a competitive game mode.


    Oh I agree with self interest, jeric. Its only a question of which model helps more players self interests. I believe that more players want more flexible choices, but you side may be the majority view. I can only beat ~20% of the teams above me, so I have to pick and chose battles carefully. If you have good odds against the highest team you can fight, more power to you.


    if you can only beat 20% of the teams above you, you're ranked too high. Improving your team would solve your issues.
