If you think GLs don't rule the game then stop farming them and see how far you get. No serious guild will want you because you are useless in TW and TB.. You will get steamrolled in GAC and get nowhere in conquest. Have fun. Personally, I won't farm anything but GLs until I have them all. There is nothing else of value in the game... Except executor, but we all know that is a GL too...
