Grand Admiral Thrawn Touchup!
I would love to see a touch up or rework to Grand Admiral Thrawn. It is a needed one. He is only used really with Lord Vader, unless your like me and some others on YouTube using Thrawn lead with Gar, ISC, Piett, and either Moff Gideon or Shore Trooper to counter Jabba and JML teams. CG I have a proposal to a touch up that can be good and yet unique to his kit if players wanna use him outside of a Lord Vader team. Not all abilities will be updated.
Grand Admiral's Command
Swap Turn Meter with target other ally. Dispel all debuffs on Thrawn and that ally, and they recover 50% Protection. If the leader in the leader slot is Lord Vader, instead they Recover 50% Health!
Fracture (Omicron)
Deal Special damage to target enemy 4 times, dispel all buffs on them, remove 50% Turn Meter, and inflict Fracture until the start of Thrawn's next turn or until Thrawn is defeated, which can't be copied or dispelled. This attack can't be evaded or resisted.
Fracture on characters: Speed set to 0, can't gain buffs, bonus attacks, or bonus Turn Meter.
Fracture on raid bosses and Galactic Legends: -50% Speed (doesn't stack with Speed Down), can't gain buffs, and -30% Counter Chance
While in Grand Arena and if Lord Vader is in the Leadership Slot: Fracture on characters: Speed set to 0, can't gain buffs, bonus attacks, or bonus Turn Meter.
Legendary Strategist
Empire allies have +40% Max Protection, 40% Tenacity, +40% Defense ,+30% Offense, and gain 20% Turn Meter whenever they Resist a detrimental effect or suffer a debuff. Whenever an Empire ally gains or loses a status effect, they recover 2% Health and Protection. At the start of the Encounter the ally in the first ally slot has their Leadership active and is disabled when defeated. Leaderships that are excluded from being active are: Galactic Legends, Emperor Palpatine, Darth Vader, Non-Empire Imperial Remnant, and Inqisitorious.
Empire allies gain a new Special ability, Maneuver: Dispel all debuffs on this character and gain 50% Turn Meter (Cooldown 3).
Ebb and Flow
Thrawn has +50% Counter Chance, +50% Tenacity, doubled while any enemies are Fractured. In addition Thrawn has -50% Speed while any enemies are Fractured. Whenever another Empire ally uses a Special ability while Thrawn is active, that ally gains 15% Turn Meter and, if any enemies are Fractured, Thrawn and Fractured enemies lose 15% Turn Meter.
My thoughts on the idea of using another lead with Thrawn would allow us to use some of those sad unused Empire leads. Plus it'd be a cool Idea to use another lead since we have this in game with the Light, Dark, and Cantina battles when you pick an allies character, both leads are present. Good way to test this is any Sith lead and pick an allies Darth Nihilus and you will see the Protection into Health. It is in game so CG can make this happen with some unique characters. Thrawn would be best as one of them! Yes adding an Omicron to Thrawn would be awesome, and I can see it unlocking the full Potential (before the 2021 nerf) of Thrawn and being able to lock down any Character, including GL's. I see the boost of stats helpful. I don't see anything wrong with 40%, heck even if those stats and even offense went to 50% it wouldn't be to bad. Looking at an old character being the OG Tank Finn, having 60% on 3 stats for the faction. Also excluding the list of characters and certain Sub Factions prevent broken combos, especially Lord Vader's lead.
