THat's because you never joined this event 7 days ago.

Each GA event requires registration. If you miss the sign up day, then you can't play through the entire event. The first 2 events were just 1 battle (3 days each). This is a full GA event that spans 8 days. You can't sign up while it's running and already nearly over.
