That was my biggest concern as well. It would be nice if they would return the MK2 slicing materials as round rewards. 150 currency for winning/25 for losing per round is simply lackluster.
EDIT: Nevermind. As @"Suprème_Lèader_Tsao" points out below, its not a bad trade off
