If a team has more zetas than you by like 10 (200 Matts), they have to have been playing for as long if not longer than you. So that should be considered a fair matchup. If I'm facing a team with double my zetas but put them on random characters, have 7* g7 Sion and nihilus, don't have cls, jtr, jkr, and 200k more gp than me, and can't best my jkr team, I think that's not a problem in match making...
So the claims of twice as many zetas and no fluff aren't really congruent. Yes, a better managed team especially with ships can have more zetas, but then again, what criteria do you want for match making? I know it's not perfect, and I'm the newer player with the non inflated roster so I benefit more than I suffer (I rarely face jkr myself, while I have a full zeta and gear 12 jkr team). But idk what the alternative is?
