Grand Master Yoda Rework Idea
Jedi are kind of trash right now. GMY is much weaker than his equivalent counterparts. I have a few ideas to spruce him up. Mind you, if there is already anything planned for his upcoming event, now is too late for suggestions.
Basic: Ataru (Zeta)
Deal physical damage to enemy an gain 25% turn meter. If the attack is successful, there is a 100% chance to attack again and gain half the turn meter of previous attack with a chance of subsequent attacks at half the odds of the previous attack and turn meter gain half of the previous attack.
Ataru is about momentum and numerous attacks. Think of Yoda's battles with Dooku and Sideous. So the 2nd attack has 100% chance and 12.5% TM gain. 3rd attack has 50% chance and 6.25% TM gain. 4th attack has 25% chance and 3.125% TM gain. 5th attack has 12.5% chance and 1.562% TM gain. Etc until attack doesn't proc. This seems crazy at first but there is 50% chance for 3 attacks and 43.75% TM gain. 12.5% chance for 4 attacks and 46.875% TM gain. 1.56% chance for 5 strikes and 48% TM gain. These can be rounded as appropriate.
Masterstroke would stay the same.
Unstoppable force would stay the same.
Battle Meditation (loses Zeta. If its been zeta'd move it to Ataru)
This would not grant foresight. Instead grant buffs and tm. Maybe 10% to jedi. Half to others.
Grand Master's Guidance (Zeta):
Grants Jedi allies 50% tenacity and 30% TM gained when resist a debuff. Non-Jedi gain half effect. When inflicted with a debuff, Jedi allies gain a unique buff Debuff immunity for 2 turns. This buff can't be dispelled or prevented.
This new unique buff Debuff immunity does not prevent fracture or armor shred. But if a unit gets fractured under GMY lead, it gains the buff. For a different example, think of Vader. Vader uses Force Crush which inflicts speed down and 3 damage-over-time debuffs. After 1 of the debuffs lands, debuff immunity is landed and prevents the others. Any special that inflicts multiple debuffs would have the same interaction. Debuff immunity would only be granted to Jedi though as it results from their affinity with the light side of the force.
Thoughts?!
