Greedo Buff Ideas

Greedo without a doubt can cause some decent damage at early stages given decent gear and mods, but apart from that is sadly very disappointing, and falls off very early in the game when it comes to end game content. My idea of a buff for him would be to increase his survivability for the most part, and tweaking his unique ability to make him more of a versatile attacker for multiple team scenarios. For display here is his current LvL 8 abilities:


  • Who Shot First? (Basic)(LvL 8) - Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 45% chance to gain Evasion Up for 2 turns.
  • Thermal Detonator (Special)(LvL 8) - Place Thermal Detonators on all enemies that explode after 2 Turns with a 40% chance for Greedo to gain 25% Turn Meter.
  • Ambuscade (Leader)(LvL 8) - Scoundrel allies gain 50% Critical Damage
  • If at first you don't succeed (Unique)(LvL 8) - Greedo has +15% Critical Chance and a 50% chance to attack again whenever he scores a Critical Hit.

    Possible idea for changes and tweaks:

  • Who Shot First? (Basic)(LvL 8) - Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 55% chance to gain evasion up for 2 turns, in addition to having defense up for the duration of his evasion buff. Greedo will also apply defense down to target on a critical hit
  • Thermal Detonator (Special)(LvL 8) - Place Thermal Detonators on all enemies that explode after 2 turns with a 70% chance to grant 15% turn meter to self for each detonator that hits, in addition cause 5% bonus damage per buff to opponents with any buff and a 45% chance to grant evasion up for 2 turns to all allies after detonation.
  • Ambuscade Ratification (Leader)(Unique)(LvL 8)(Zeta) - Greedo gains +10 speed and +10% critical damage for every debuff he suffers from and gains +20% potency if he has less than 50% turn meter, in addition Greedo has a 55% chance to gain 15% protection with his basic if suffering any debuffs.
  • If at first you don't succeed (Unique)(LvL 8) - Greedo has +15% Critical Chance and a 65% chance to attack again whenever he scores a Critical Hit, in addition greedo gains +30% critical avoidance on a critical hit.
  • I love the idea of making detonators uncleanse-able. Add that to Greedo's Zeta and BH would get a large boost. They're still gimped by daze/stun/shock of Zaul teams but this could level the field better with Rex/Chaze and Rex/Chaze/GK teams.

    I've been hoping for that tag for awhile now... Even farmed her up (no gear yet) in the hopes that someday my dream becomes reality. With her zeta giving her speed for unbuffed enemies and Boba lead giving her speed for debuffed enemies she could turn into a very fast toon with proper modding, allowing her to level out her good damage and get that group dispel off.

    Yep, and actually, that doesn't require her Zeta for the Speed, the Zeta lets her keep her buffs 2 turns and ups the TM gain when someone is defeated. I had her on a team like a year ago, so it'd be minor gearing for me. The only question was which BH to replace, I'm thinking IG-88. Cad is my normal bench rider.
  • I'm running Zoba, IG88, Zam, Greedo and B2. I'd just swap B2.
