Has anyone else not beaten a GW since the G12 release?

As if fighting a Kenobi, CLS, R2D2, Barris, Nihilus team with full zetas wasn't hard enough, G12 has made it literally impossible for me since I, A.) only have one gear 12 character, and B.) don't have a resistance team or similar squad that can auto GW.

Why did they not fix the GW matchup calculation before releasing G12? People have been complaining about the difficulty for months and CG just went and made it ten times more difficult.

Is anyone else having the kind of difficulty I am with GW?

(Disclaimer: I am not on the forums much anymore, so if this is a common complaint I would not know. I'm just ranting.)
  • I haven't lost a GW since G12. I haven't lost a GW since my Resistance hit G11.

    They are still G11 ;)
  • My GW has had a harder average but an easier node 12 of late. e.g. My node 6 has been Wiggs Chaze +1 and node 11 has been a zQGJ or Zaul team but so far I’ve finished every GW this week.
  • I'm level 80, nobody over G10. I face G12 teams on N12 and win about 30% of the time. Resistance is needed not just for GW so I'd get started on the farm

As in your node 12 is broken? I haven't had one since before the g12 update.
  • I have beat GW twice since CLS came out. Both times I didnt fight 3 or 4 CLS teams that day.
  • So before gear 12 I hadn't lost since mods came out, I did lose my first one last week. Digging the new gw it needed to be harder. And no I don't have resistance, but I will soon just 3 more zetas

    P.s.
My node 12 broke over a year ago node 11 just broke after I lost last week
  • I haven't lost a GW in well over a year now. Throughout, I've made it a bit of a priority to make sure that I have what it takes to do so. Long ago, that meant a good heal/heal block team. Then it meant a good Wiggs team. Then a good Nihilus Sith team. Most recently, it's meant having a decent Resistance team.
And it honestly only takes a decent Resistance team to deal with many of the troublesome squads you might face in GW.
    Here's an example from yesterday:

This is the squad I faced. This team is far and away the meta at the moment, as noted by swgoh.gg:

And here's the Resistance team I sent in to face the full G12 meta node 12 squad:

As you can see, aside from a G11 R2, I'm running with a G9 Poe and a G8 Finn/RP/RT. I'm also only using 8 potency mods total in that group. Finn and RP are below 20% potency, RT is below 40%, and R2 and Poe are around 60%. Having used node 3 to get full TM on all characters, I was able to start node 12 with a good chance to go before Han Solo.

At the start, I was able to use Finn to stun Han before he could go, then RT to dispel GK's taunt, then Poe to apply buff immunity to GK to prevent him from regaining taunt.

The next most important thing is to get a stun on CLS, followed by stuns on the other Rebels, to avoid their ability to counterattack. R2's smokescreen is incredibly useful to this end.

Then it's about a careful spread of damage, with a slight focus on CLS first, while continuing to attempt to make sure that all enemies are stunned, in case of bad RNG.

After that, it's fairly easy going until it's time for the final mop-up. R2's burn works well to finish off all the remaining exposed targets.

And even though this is node 12, my entire Resistance squad will finish with no damage taken, and full TM again.
For the record, I don't have a single G12 character.
