What's the best strategy for gearing? I'm in a guild where we compete 3 heroic rancors and 1-2 heroic AATs weekly, so I have a steady influx of gear.I am currently trying to gear 4 rebels for the EP event, and 5 sith to replace my out-of-order droids. This is the start of your problem. F2p need focus, you are spreading yourself too thin trying to max gear that many toons.

Swgoh.gg is a good place to see which toons require what gear, so you can pick 1 or 2 focus on them and use gear you get that they don't need and put it on others.

That is the best strategy, and farming gear they all need help too.

Yeah but I'm faced with this domino effect that's causing issues. I need to gear rebels if I want a good Sith team because rebels are needed for the EP event, and I'm also trying to gear EP, Savage, Nihilus, SA, and Dooku for my sith team.

As a f2p you just can't do that. You have to focus on just one team (and after that, just one toon) at a time, or you'll start falling behind. Trust me, I've been there

What should I do then? I plan on ditching rebels whenever they're strong enough for the EP challenge.

I did exactly this! And because I did I'm just now getting my squad to g10, 3 of my team is still g9, and I am stuck facing squads with mostly g11 characters. The only reason I played rebels was to get my ep, I'm sure it will pay off in the end bit until then it's a slow grind.
