Battling in GAC and last fight is head-to-head Negotiator battle. My GK has 90 higher speed. My JKA has 26 higher, the marauder crew each are 40-96 higher speed. Relics are all the same - GK 8, JKA 7, BB 5. Yet all four ships go first and wipe the floor with me. What mechanic am I missing?
Looks like the coin flip went against you.
Negotiator’s opening move grants 30% TM to allies, so if opposing Negotiator goes first, the entire team will go before you.
The speed of characters isn't relevant for ship battles. However, relic levels (or gear level) and mod dots (colour doesn't) do affect speed.
Did I get screwed by a coin flip? Same starting three on both sides - Marauder, BTL, Anakin
