Is there any chance they will put hermit yoda as an accelerated farm. I know he's been around a long time and for me personally, I am stuck behind him for getting both JKL and JML. This is incredibly frustrating, and I know its my fault for not doing him earlier, but will this ever happen? Bc I would love to get JML sooner than 4 months from now
Never going to happen. CG's economy is based on you using GET to buy gear pieces, so they clog it up with characters/ships to derail your ability to obtain the gear necessary to develop your account f2p. Its underhanded, but once again, they talked about how they 'dislike' putting characters in the GET stores because people 'overwhelmingly' go for them when the gear in the store is counted for their economic balancing.
They're a for-profit business, nothing underhanded about it.
That's kind of funny really.
A top tier AAA game retails for 60 bucks.
There are pack here at 100 bucks, regular packs at 50 and 60.
Much more common at 20 and 30 and 40
Much less common at say, 5...
But, yeah, a top tier game retails for 60 bucks - which is something that thousands of man hours went into making. Meanwhile a pack of existing items that took someone 60 minutes to package goes for 100 bucks.
Pharma is a for profit business as well, but that Skrelli guy got hoisted up on charges and arrested shortly after jacking up drug prices at his company to obscene levels 'just because he could'.
I have games i have no problem paying to play. That said, they aren't constantly adding things solely for monetary gain. You pay to play and everyone has a level playing field. You have in game buys for custom/cosmetic stuff and that's it. Not pay to win.
I'll say, it's one thing to put out a new toon and keep the masses from getting it and letting others buy him all the way up. It's quite another when you go in an intentionally set rare mods to get those same people spend even more to gear him up as well. It's that intentional double (or triple) dipping that people think of and refer to as being underhanded. That's what leaves the bad taste in peoples mouths. Saying 'nuh-uh' doesn't change that fact a bit.
