I'd bet probably not. I don't think he's meant to be a fast-farm toon like with wampa and Malak for example. Makes them some of the few characters you have to hoard GET tokens for and this way they're not really locked behind some sort of p2p wall. Keeps things fair for the future but I'm not sure that really matters at this point seeing as how many people have already got him at 7*.

Unfortunately no. Toons like that were specifically excluded from this update.

Terrible part is for newer players. If you want to unlock Malak and GAS, Hoda is way out there as is Wampa and IPD.

The toons not accelerated that fit the timeline all seem to have specific locations, meaning not arbitrary.

Never going to happen. CG's economy is based on you using GET to buy gear pieces, so they clog it up with characters/ships to derail your ability to obtain the gear necessary to develop your account f2p. Its underhanded, but once again, they talked about how they 'dislike' putting characters in the GET stores because people 'overwhelmingly' go for them when the gear in the store is counted for their economic balancing.

Would be nice to see a new galactic bounties with Hoda as one of the toons, similar to what they did with Wampa. It’d ease the farm a little bit, but those events are also pretty infrequent. I’ve already got both, thinking more about new players

I don't know. Quite a lot of things were excluded. All the raid toons, which is fine...but vader, wampa, hoda, malak, GAS (not sure he's been around a year tho), grievous, and i'm sure more.

I'm surprised they never caved to whales on things like this to let them buy GET so they can get those faster.

JKL really really hurts in that respect in that Wampa and Hoda haven't been close to must have's in over two years, if they were prior to that even. Now, for JKL, you need TWO GET only toons and GET isn't that easy to come by. Each is like 90k GET to get to 7*. Malak and GAS are 70K each after unlock.

It's very much a case of if you didn't guess the future right, you're way behind with no hope of catching up until the toons have been exceeded by multiple others.

GAS and Malak are event toons, you need to complete thier respective event to gain them.

Wampa and hoda are from a specific store, that was excluded, yes.

Vader if he pops up in the fleet store is not doubled?

Not sure what's up with GG, that is one of the odd situations that got really bad.

It's still not arbitrary, each toon that has been excluded is from a specific store or event (which they shouldnt double. Because that removes the necessity to finish the event)

Everyone else is fair game. If it were arbitrary there would be no connections between ones excluded (i.e. - accelerate hoda, but not wampa)

I will give you GG, but then again he is a special circumstance just like the GET store.
