I have JKA modded for health and potency and crit chance (Only 6 stars atm so I need that extra health). Ahsoka is crit chance and damage with health primaries on both circle and cross. IGD is crit chance and damage as he's already pretty tanky and hits great against the droids, QGJ is potency and health mainly cuz I don't like switching off all of his potency mods from the rancor raid, and Yoda is tenacity and health so he doesn't get ability blocked too often.
I like the 50% damage on ahsokas special for the aayla strategy, but I think you are right about the heal being better for above 50% when using JKA lead. I'll have to try that.
The over 50% also helps immensely as I run Yoda because I don't have Aayla, so constant Foresight keeps him alive and if he spreads Foresight w/ Battle Meditation B2 can't dispel because everyone dodges. Just personal preference, although it's good to have a team set up for both over and under 50%. I actually love going in when he's around 55% health so it switches halfway through and you can get the survivability in the first half and then just rain down damage with Ahsoka in the second half.
