Not everyone 🤷. I didn’t watch the Clone Wars cartoons past the 1st season
You're well missing out. The first few seasons are pretty childish, but get way better with the later ones
Or watch Rebels, or visit the Disney Galaxy Edge. Or play the new DLC for Outlaws which is marketing with Hondo as the main draw. If you don't engage with a lot of the media I can understand not knowing who people are. That being said I do think he isn't big enough for a GL. But at least he's 100% pirate.

I tried Rebels, but couldn’t get past the first episode. Seemed too childish for me
