How has gear 13 impacted your game so far?

Hard to Believe it wouldn't be worth it for just +8 speed alone?

I haven't given anyone G13 yet. I was going to do JKR but in my own research I found that it probably won't be worth it. I'm probably going to give GG my first piece, but I don't have him ready to receive it yet.

Have 5 so far. DR, Badstila, Hk47, Sith Marauder and JKA. So far Marauder I enjoy the most and get the most bang for my buck. It increased my P2 hstr score though. It's no jkr score, but I'll never have him so its all I got for P2.

It’s made the pay to win situation worse than it’s ever been.

I didn’t mind so much when I was paying for new characters, but paying for gear is ridiculous.

The amount of dev time vs the price is absolutely obscene and that is why I’ve gone free to play.

I second that. Just when I was starting to move up in rank consistently, now the top is all g13 revan/malak.. You can definitely tell who has deep pockets in this game.

Wow so all that hype for gear 13 being game changing was for nothing? Here I was hoping to finally 7 star that damn chewbacca event with a squad of gear 13 bounty hunters

You don't even need all G12 BH to 7* the event so it would be pretty wasteful to do G13.

Wouldn't know, don't have any and way far away from even having the gear needed. I plan on using it on gg when I finally do get them. I just don't have the energy or gems for refreshes needed to farm the stuff. I've got char farms that they are be allocated for currently.
I was the same way with gear 12 pieces, never in a rush to start putting them to use.
Sometimes it works out better that way, you can see and hear about what is the best investment before you commit to something that may be a dud.
