How to beat malgus proving ground event

So darth malgus is my only conquest toon I ever got to almost halfway farmed when his rotation in conquest shop ended and became a proving ground only reward. I have been absolutely decimated in every proving ground I attempt and have just about given up on ever farming any of these toons since everything i do ends in failure. I dont recall seeing what teams are best for malgus so any help on what i should be doing would be appreciated
