I don't believe so, we created af new guild. Not exactly elegant though.

The leader has to leave the guild and only then can they choose who else takes over as new leader. As the previous answer said it's not the most elegant of solutions.

If your leader left and has not played for a while, you can contact the Devs and they should be able to change it for you. I seem to remember someone else asking about this.

How to change guild leader?

Contact EA and talk with a rep via live chat. I did this last year when our leader went MIA. I was an officer and they made me leader and demoted the leader to an officer.
