How to properly use unbreakable will in sith raid and isolate ability

So I've been trying to improve my resistance squad's damage output in sith raid and never bothered to look into unbreakable will until recently. I watched a video on how to handle phase 1 and it said to use this ability once annihilate is at 2 count. So I tried that and for whatever reason I guess I timed it wrong because the wrong toon died. Was it not executed properly or is there a step I'm missing. And also when using Darth traya's isolate ability I thought it would have done more to help but it apparently didn't do anything to help at all and my sith squad got killed and dealt absolutely no damage. Do I need traya's leader zeta to make any gkkd use out of her?

    On the unbreakable will question it sounds like you watched an old video. In the past there was a lot more uncertainty on when the raid boss was going to annihilate. These day's as long as you are not suffering debuffs when he has a Drain Force coming up you generally can wait till it shows a zero count and you know it will be the next action. Now since your resistance team can do a lot of TM removal you might need to take a little care. But with a bit of practice you get a good feel for it.

    Ok thanks. I did try with jedi revan and figured out it was bad timing. Now as far as traya goes is it a necessity to have her leader skill Zeta'd to make her any good? I know isolate keeps nihilus from gaining buffs but will he take any damage from her leader ability?

    What's your RES squad look like? Ideal is JTR, BB8 R2, C3P0 , and FINN. Focus on getting illuminated destiny before nihilus ever attacks, and getting three stacks of confusion on him. Once you hit DN, his Tenacity goes through the roof so itll be close to impossible to land any more debuffs.

    I can usually get around 10-12m with this strategy.
    And use JTR for unbreakable will or FINN. It's easy for them to regain health lost when it expires

    Whenever DN uses his AOE, it reduces the cooldown of annihilate for each debuffed character it hits. Read the descriptions of the abilities.
