They're too busy screwing over F2P people to care.

What CG doesn't seem to realize is that as they turn this into a whale only game, the community itself dies. This is evident with the dramatic fall off in engagement with SWGOH content creators. They're all screaming because that is their income.

This change with MkI raid currency, where they're forcing you to buy in quantities of a minimum of 75 further screws F2P because it forces them to maintain massive quantities of different parts that they do not need. This is called in business "reduced inventory turnover." Just the fact that CG did this without putting out a notice or advising the community says that they knew they were screwing people over. They just hoped that nobody would notice.

Well I noticed. Perfect example. I just needed 3 of one part to complete my 50. My only option was to either spend 4250 MkI raid currency for 125 of them (even though I only need 3) and then sit on the other 122 in inventory potentially for months until I need them again, or buy energy and try to farm the 3 I need.

The level of contempt CG has for the SWGOH community is truly profound.

Couple of caveats here- the revenue dropping is in mobile spending. Due to the webstore most will spend there due to the benefits (however small) players will receive by doing so.

Secondly alongside that assumption I'm sure CG have metrics which point them to what works to increase spending. None of your ideas are actually ways to increase player spending, just ways to balance it less towards spenders which will not increase spending as obviously Whales need a power / reward disparity over those who don't spend.

100% agree about TW, simply increasing the rewards compared to the amount of effort needed would help. As an end game guild member we just don't bother unless its an easy win.

Hard disagree that they are screwing over F2P. 

Now Eras and Collisium are absolutely not fun.....BUT they do give f2p more rewards and character shard progression than how new character releases used to work.

Can only assume you are rather new to the game as it wasn't that long ago that it was much worse.

They're screwing everyone over, not just F2P.  Coliseum increases the cost of marquee and legendary units far more than even the original process.  (Especially more so than the one year of cheaper and easier marquees they did before rug-pulling us with coliseum.)  And sorry to say but the decision makers at CG aren't really apt to listen to players.  Especially so if you've been here for years.  Their priority is new players and getting people to start playing the game.  Those of us who have been here a long time don't matter much.  CG isn't run by gamers anymore, it's run by revenue chasers.

Not only that, but clearly CG had a meeting about the bulk MkI raid currency purchases. A bunch of people at CG sat down, used words like "reduced inventory turnover forcing players to use crystals to marginally buy what they could formerly use MkI raid currency to buy," kind of bugs me. They know they screwed their player base because both before and after the change they made no announcement of the change. Those kinds of changes, without any announcement, are consistent with a sleaze bucket trying to get away with something.
