I know, @medetec, but that would mean not playing much and missing out on some of K-2SO's shards. :/

P.S: even if I stayed at 79 it is very unlikely I'd get more than 20 of Jyn's shards anyway (20 shards is the max I got from previous tourneys).

If you reach it tomorrow you can still get K2SO to 7star, because they give a total of 290 when you only need 280.

If you get that in say 5 days, you would be missing 15 shards, right? With 5 refreshes on tier 2 (700 gems) or 3 on tier 4-7(750) you could still get him 7star. Before doing refreshes I would wait to see if you can beat the bonus tier.

Depends on the bracket you get, a guild mate of mine got a 7* shoretrooper by going in at lvl 79 with a f2p roster.

EA doesn't group people in tournaments (unlike regular arena and ships arena) based on your starting date... so... your chances are slim to none.

I wasn't able to get below 200 in the previous tournaments, medetec, so unless they somehow change the way they group players in the next one I'm not hoping to do any better.

I actually expect to be in a worse position as I'll be at the bottom of the 80+ bracket, not at the top of the 70-79 one like your friend (and I) was.

They should indeed group players by a combination of starting date (hours/days actually spent playing would be even better) and money "invested" in the game.
