Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper Kit Idea

Here is the kit idea for the Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper.



Unit Name: Remnant Stormtrooper
Tags: Dark Side, Tank (STR), Empire, Imperial Remnant, Imperial Troopers
Description: Imperial Remnant Tank who Taunts and self-revives to disrupt enemy strategies.
Relic: Stormtrooper Helmet

Basic: Imperial Loyalty (Omega):
Spoiler
Deal physical damage to target enemy. This attack deals 15% more damage for each active Empire ally.
Animation: Remnant Stormtrooper fires at target enemy.

Special: Stormtrooper Assault (Cooldown 3) (Omega):
Spoiler
Deal physical damage to all enemies and remove 20% Turn Meter from them. Then, Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper gains Taunt for 2 turns, and grants Imperial Remnant allies Defense Up and Protection Up (20%) for 2 turns.
If Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper is already Taunting, inflict Offense Down and Defense Down for 2 turns on all enemies, and reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1.
Animation: Remnant Stormtroopers fire at enemy squad, and Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper Taunts.

Unique: Remnant of the Empire (Zeta):

Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper has +20% Defense for each Imperial Remnant ally. Whenever an Imperial Remnant ally falls below 50% Health, Remnant Stormtrooper gains Taunt for 2 turns and recovers 30% Protection.
-Zeta: The first time Imperial Remnant Stormtrooper is defeated, and there is at least one other Imperial Remnant ally present, he revives at 80% Health. When this happens, all Imperial Remnant allies gain 25% Turn Meter and recover 10% Health and Protection. This does not trigger any other revive effects.

    Great kit. The only thing I’d pick on is the unique ability. 3 revives? What’s his base hp? He’s a tank, right?


    Yes, he is a tank. I’ll probably change the number of revives from 3 to one instead. And thank you for evaluating.

    You must’ve missed the part where CG added the Imperial Remnant tag to the in game stormtrooper, which would make this kit as unlikely to be added as Disney being capable of not creating an awful sequel trilogy

    I believe that he is referring to making an actual IR Stormtrooper kit rather than throwing a tag on the Stormtrooper so that they don't have to actually make the IR Stormtrooper a kit.

    Yes, but the in-game Stormtrooper is the Stormtrooper from the original trilogy, but CG just decided to add the IR tag to it to save them the time of actually having to create an IR Stormtrooper. I know that this character will probably never make it in the game, but I still wanted to make it.

    Yeah, i have to disagree on that. How do you know that the In-game stormtrooper is from OT? How do you know that CG wanted to save time? I think they did that because the IR Stormtrooper would probably be too similar to the OG Stormtrooper (even your version is), and they wanted to give OG Stormtrooper a purpose.


    Well, it existed in the game before the Mandalorian had been released, and they had created the IR tag. But I do have to agree with you on your point on giving Stormtrooper a purpose.

    Well, it existed in the game before they had made the Mandalorian and created the IR tag. But I do have to agree with you on your point on giving Stormtrooper a purpose.


    Retcon exists, also the Stormtrooper is a generic trooper, so he represents all stormtroopers, which were in the Original Trilogy and the Mandalorian


    Fair, but let’s get back to the kit rather than trying to decide whether an IR Stormtrooper should exist in game.
