Important point to keep in mind

They can do what they want with game, with exception of what Mickey says.
They do release bugged context.
They do communicate when they want.
They did raise conquest difficulty.
They did reduce conquest difficulty.

First 2 they have been doing for a long time, and they keep taking in a profit.
This conquest is no different.
Sure some will some quit.
They will get some new players.

This conquest debable actually shows they do listen to the player base. The pitch forks came out, forum burned and they reverted the changes in conquest.

As much as it sucked, releasing it as such and waiting to see if it is accepted or not sadly gives more feedback about it than announcing the changes or asking players about the change, so I see why they did/do it and will probably do it again. Could they have done a better make good? Sure.

The player base is the beta test program.

CPiT release was a similar debacle and again it took pitchforks to "fix" it, and according to them that was really beta tested. So either the test group was ok with it or they ignored the test group which means having one is useless.

What would make you think that these bundles were released to cover up any issues? Lot of people already had those characters above that level. Does everything need to be some sort of conspiracy?

They don’t do distraction decisions

His point is that instead of saying “the player base is angry about ..” say, “I’m still angry about…” or “Me and others i know are still angry about …”

Or use the word Plenty of other people like you just did in your reply

So… they didn’t fix the Leviathan bugs and tweak it to be stronger than it was at launch?

They didn’t just substantially tone down hard conquest difficulty?

They didn’t release any statements they were going to do so/once they did?

They didn’t release statements regarding the other bug fixes they’ve been working on?

Because from where I stand, it looks like they’ve done all those things. Yeah there’s some things to critique, but to say they haven’t addressed anything at all is completely off base.

I am confused by the OP as the playerbase is not angry and has been happy with recent developments and responsiveness of CG to address issues.
