In game EA Help is as useful as a chocolate teapot

Ok let me explain why, had issue with something in game and trying to use in game was pointless.

Started last conquest and my guild posted this bit about milestone event and how we had almost maxed it within first week of starting. This was gonna be helpful as only needed 40 shards for DS Rey. Well event finished, got 20 from event that happens after each conquest and thought do I spend crystals for a refresh. Some of the guild said nah we'll get milestone rewards and that'll unlock her.

For few days nothing, so I contacted in game help and for over a fortnight trying to explain over and over as not sinking in that haven't got rewards. Even told them I'm not trying it on to get free shards as its what 2200 for refresh and I've got 20k crystals in reverse.

Please tell me I'm not only one having this issue with rewards or in game help being useless.

  • I feel like the EA Help is just AI chat bots at this point.  The answers are generic and not really responsive, just a reply based on what you present without specifics.  Which, wouldn't surprise me because it's EA and that's how they roll.

I think they are are purposefully hired just to string you along and waste your time, such that you just give up on your inquiry in the end. They are not there to actually support you with anything, thats the experience I have with them anyway.

  • In game support doesn't actually exist. Its an AI chatbot that just goes in circles and keeps starting over after so many days. You have to go to the forums and find a random guy that works for CG who may or may not be able to pass along your complaint to someone on the team that may or may not be willing to fix it. Somebody really should sue CG for this because there is no honest reason to have the in game support option if its literally designed to just provide cover to prevent you from actually seeking game support. One time the in game support directed me to speak with a specific user on the forums. When I looked up that user they hadn't logged onto the site in 3 years.

  • My ticket today was about the link that the “help” chat bot keep sending me….that is a all darked out so I can’t read the useless tips about clearing my cache.

”help” told me to stop opening tickets and see if someone on the forums could help instead.
