Incredibly Frustrating

i have 2 identical teams that I can choose between in my top 20. zmaul, ep, dn, sith assassin, sith trooper. 1 is 43k power, the other is 48k power. After a few tries on each i only fight the higher power one now, because if my FOO doesn't go at least second, I'm done. I cannot beat the 43k power because of speed- he gets the first 3 turns on me, that is not the case on the other team. It really is as simple as that. Power means very little, it's more about speed.. and not just highest speed wins, sometimes it's a balance. Going second and fifth can sometimes be better than third and forth, but not always. So many factors at play.
