So the only thing that seems to work is to uninstall/reinstall after completely dissociating google play from SWGOH.
That seems to have finally resolved the lag.
Find a different solution, CG, this ☝️☝️☝️ should not be the answer
And apparently, it was only a temporary solution. I relaunched the game this morning and the same lag is back.
Freaking one minute and twenty seconds just to buy my featured shipments.
