Investing less.

I used to invest a minimum of 6k crystals per marquee, always buying the 5-pull pack of shard cards. 

Now, after this era is over, I will have more info than I do now and so things might indeed change for me, but my spending was always in service to a particular strategy. I knew what I wanted to do with my toons and I knew how spending would help me get there. 

Right now I can't fit any of my crystal spending on Era toons into a strategy for what I want out of those toons after they become available for me to use in the gameplay that matters. 

Since I can't see what benefit I will gain from spending on Era toons, I'll be spending less on Era toons. 

The strong disconnect between "Era" and "Everything Else" isn't serving to increase my spending. It's giving me more reason to find Era activities a useless distraction unworthy of crystal spending.
