- There is an iOS emulator for android, so you can just install the iOS version of this game on your android after you put in the emulator.
Apple is better for people who are technologically uninclined, Android is better for people who are.
That being said, there are some app types that are just better on each system. "Bhaalor;997639" wrote:

We have the technology, we can make him better, stronger, faster.....but we still can't support changing OS.
I dont think it has anything to do with Technology, I think it has to do with digital media rights etc. Like someone from Apple getting 3 or 4 Ewok Shards that Apple paid for, or someone from Android getting away with a 7* K2SO.
Has nothing to do with that. Several games allow for account transfer from iphone to android and vice versa. Golf Star is a good example. Just takes someone to code it that actually cares about customers."Woodroward;998071" wrote:

Meh. Its about use case and not whether a person is "technologically inclined". I prefer PC and Linux to Mac by 1000x because I am a power user on the desktop. That said, I don't need an openish system for mobile even though I am technically inclined. I just need something that is easy to use and works (and fits in with my vast flac/m3 collection that I have had since the early days of ipod).- You can circumvent that problem by using an android emulator on PC. I assume and hope EA has platform crossing on their horizon eventually, maybe even to PC. The game is just too good to pass up this opportunity - long term - and if they are smart to react and seize this opportunity while swgoh still runs.
Currently Bluestacks and Andy are good ones, of which Andy i can confirm works well with the game.
On a note, I first installed Bluestacks which people say is the top android emulator, HOWEVER it made my computer lock up completely which never *ever* happened before (intel core I3, 16gb ram, non-onboard graphics card), so i quickly deleted it.
As a side effect, running the game on PC with an emulator is less strain to the eyes, especially in later evening hours, compared to a smartphone, no graphics issues, and if you are into such stuff, recording ingame stuff is most likely easier aswell. "Woodroward;998071" wrote:

This ^^^^^^ It sucks but be glad you didn't go from Android to Apple."Tavanh;998144" wrote:

Why? Other than the game he would now be in the promise land. ;)."Tavanh;998144" wrote:

Nothing is wrong with apple?- I could care less about phones, because I have worked for a few cell companies. No one gives a flying fuck about you across the board so it doesn't matter end of the day. Companies develop crap and release it. Never in a million years would I stand in line to get a first production run of a new phone model. I'm glad I never have to deal with the horrors of a new iphone release again.

I was more talking about people who don't know what they're doing messing around on android and messing their system up vs. Apple, where you will have to alter the system extensively before you can mess it up. Lack of viruses on Apple was tied extensively to a lack of open unsigned software support. Therefore Apple is better for the technologically uninclined.
Having open unsigned software support makes it easier for someone at home to write their own app based on checking someone else's app out, etc. But it opens up the door to problems, therefore Android is better for people who are technologically inclined.
And if you just prefer the OS, that's a whole other story. My previous statements were neglecting preference. I was using the word better based on criteria rather than preferences."Woodroward;998071" wrote:

I'm an iOS user, as well as a patented software developer who codes fluently in over a dozen programming languages. I think this statement makes 0 sense.
